Therefore, Sakthi Foundation started Sakthi schools in the village of Sendurai to educate kids.

Sendurai is a beautiful town near Madurai, surrounded by hills. Sendurai has nearly 5000 residents and they are mostly farmers. Average family income is approximately Rs. 50 ($ 1) per day and the literacy rate is less than 5%. Therefore, the children's are forced to work in the agricultural lands to help their parents. Highlight of the School:

1. Personalized Education: Every child is unique not only with respect to their own talents but also with challenges like emotional challenges, physical challenges, discipline challenges and learning challenges.
